DFW Weekend

There’s something very unique happening inside this house. Come inside! If you are walking down Eighth St, in the Bishop Arts district, it would be easy to pass this unassuming little house and completely miss out on one of the most unique bars in Dallas. Few however, come along with a chef that has nearly 30 years of professional restaurant experience in New Orleans. Well, Swamp Cafe does! Chef David as he likes to be called, takes his years of experience and drops it into a menu featuring Po-Boys, Beignets, Gumbos and many other Southern Louisiana delicacies. That is a welcome change, indeed. So much to choose from! You will also find Fried Catfish, Shrimp or Oyster baskets, Jambalaya, Crawfish Etouffee and a variety of salads. There’s even a small market space where you can purchase Cafe Du Monde Coffee and Chicory or Beignet Mix! Seafood Gumbo Fried Shrimp Po-Boy Frie...
